Literally, Boemi Radjawali means a living place of eagle, but here the word Radjawali reminds some people of an institution where they pursued their education. Radjawali is the name of a Catholic school in Makassar that provides education from kindergarten to high school level .  However for the alumni of this school in particularly, Radjawali brings some special insights, both personally and emotionally.  To them this is a place that not only trained them to become men, but is also a place to seek knowledge and guides students to the future. 

The alumni experienced a valuable time while studying in Radjawali; it was the time when they were prepared mentally and intellectually before receiving recognition as mature human beings with his/her rights among the people in general.  Radjawali reminds them of their “golden” times which became a sweet memory for the individual students before they have responsibility as mature people facing the reality in their future lives.  This feeling has brought them to always remember the school and be eager to return to the past…. it could be interpreted as an eagle which has flown far away from its nest, and is always eager to return to its home, “the home is far away from home.”
